A Family Getaway to Vivaldi Park
I recently spent three days and two nights at Vivaldi Park’s Sono Belle C building with my two children, aged six and two. While we booked this location because it was the only one available during the holiday period, it turned out to be a solid, practical choice for our family.
Room Layout and Condition
The room consists of two bedrooms, one kitchen/living room, and one bathroom. Having two separate bedrooms was a major convenience for our group. The living area was spacious enough for us to relax and enjoy snacks together.
Regarding the condition of the unit, the facilities are definitely dated. You won’t find the sleek, modern aesthetic of a brand-new resort here, as the signs of age are visible throughout. However, the cleanliness was acceptable, and we didn’t find it uncomfortable for a short stay. If you are hoping to get into your room a bit earlier, I recommend asking the front desk upon arrival if a cleaned room is already available.
Practical Considerations
One notable inconvenience is the lack of a microwave in the room. If you need to heat up baby food, milk, or snacks for younger children, you have to head down to the basement level. With a two-year-old in tow, this extra trip was a bit of a hassle, so it is worth keeping in mind before you arrive.
Resort Activities for Kids
One of the highlights of our trip was the on-site sheep farm. My six-year-old loved feeding the sheep, and both children spent a significant amount of time playing in the sand area nearby. It was a great outdoor space for them to burn off energy.
We also visited Ocean World. My advice is to go on your first day; we noticed that the queues were significantly longer on the second day. There were plenty of facilities suitable for the children’s ages, and they had a fantastic time. Returning to the room after a full day of water play meant the kids were exhausted and ready for bed, which was a win for us parents.
Final Thoughts
Considering the price, especially during a busy holiday period, I found the stay to be a good value. If you view the room primarily as a place to sleep and recharge, it serves its purpose well. The convenience of having everything within the resort made the trip much easier to manage with young children.
