Prime Location and Rwalk Access
During my October 2024 trip to Bangkok, I stayed at the newly opened Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong. The location is truly its standout feature. It is incredibly convenient, especially during the rainy season, because you can access the BTS Chit Lom Station, Big C, and Central World via the Rwalk without ever getting wet. It’s a comfortable walk of about 10 minutes from the station.

Room Condition and Design
I booked the most basic room, which was quite small, but the space is designed very efficiently. While the room size might feel tight, the hotel compensates with a massive, trendy, and vibrant lobby area that offers plenty of space to sit and relax. The design is youthful and stylish, which I think younger travelers will really appreciate. I paid approximately 2,900 THB (about 120,000 KRW) per night, which felt like a fair value for the experience.

Hotel Facilities and Amenities
The hotel has some great communal spaces, including a library and a well-equipped, albeit compact, gym. There is also an ironing room available for guests. For dining and drinks, the lobby bar serves coffee and cocktails, and there is a mini-convenience store area for snacks and canned drinks.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- There are no coin-operated laundry or dryer facilities.
- The TV does not offer any Korean channels (though Japanese and Chinese channels are available).
- The fridge is quite small, so don’t plan on storing too many items.

The Pool Situation
One important note is that the hotel does not have its own swimming pool. If you are set on swimming, you can ask the front desk for assistance; they can help you arrange a one-day pass for the nearby Novotel, which is just a 5-minute walk away via the Rwalk.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The breakfast quality was good, with a nice variety of fruits, and the staff were accommodating—they even granted me a late checkout until 3:00 PM since I had a late-night flight. While the room size is a trade-off, the trendy atmosphere and unbeatable location make it a solid choice. If you can manage the lack of an on-site pool, I would definitely consider staying here again.
