Choosing the KAL Lounge
During my trip in October 2024, I originally planned to visit the Matina Lounge. However, the queue was incredibly long, so I decided to head to the KAL Lounge instead. It is a spacious spot that I visit from time to time. I accessed it using my Morning Calm coupons, though with my remaining balance and expiration dates approaching, I am not sure how many more times I will be able to visit unless I start flying business class!

Location
The lounge is conveniently located right in front of Gate 249 at Incheon Airport. It is a great alternative when other lounges in the terminal are feeling overcrowded.

Food & Beverage
Upon entering, I noticed a well-stocked alcohol section. While I don’t drink, there was a wide variety of options available, and many other travelers seemed to be enjoying the draft beer.
For food, the highlight is the bibimbap station, which even includes helpful instructions on how to assemble the perfect bowl. The salad bar was also fresh, featuring pumpkin salad, lettuce, and tomatoes. For drinks, they offer regular milk, low-fat milk, and water. I personally would have loved to see strawberry milk, but I made do by alternating between hot and cold lattes from the coffee machine.

Facilities
The lounge is well-equipped for travelers needing to refresh. There is a dedicated nursing room, and the shower rooms and restrooms are spacious and clean. My favorite part of the lounge is the area with massage machines. I was lucky enough to find an open spot, and it was the perfect way to relax before my flight.

Final Thoughts
Whether you are looking for a hearty meal like bibimbap or just a quiet place to enjoy a coffee and a massage, the KAL Lounge provides a comfortable environment. It is a solid choice for those looking to avoid the busier areas of the terminal.
