Returning to Jeju Sumbie for a 2-Person Stay
After a satisfying stay in the larger ‘Angeori’ (4-person) unit last month, I decided to return to Jeju Sumbie for a shorter trip. This time, traveling as a pair, I booked the ‘Bakgeori’ unit, which is specifically designed for two guests. Located at 34-6, Gwideok 3-gil, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, this property continues to be a reliable choice for a quiet getaway.
Accommodation Overview: Bakgeori Unit
The Bakgeori unit features a studio-type layout that is more compact than the Angeori, but it is incredibly efficient. It includes a comfortable bed, a bathroom, and essential kitchen facilities like a refrigerator and dining table. Check-in is at 16:00, and check-out is at 11:00. The space is well-organized, making the flow of the room feel natural and convenient for two people.
Experience: Interior Comfort and Cleanliness
The interior maintains the same warm, inviting aesthetic I enjoyed during my previous visit. It is clear that the property is well-maintained; the cleanliness remains top-notch, which is a significant factor in my overall satisfaction. The bed was particularly impressive, with a mattress that offered just the right amount of softness, and the quality of the bedding made for a restful night’s sleep.
Highlight: The Private Outdoor Jacuzzi
One of the main reasons I returned was the private outdoor jacuzzi. While it is slightly smaller than the one in the Angeori unit, it offers the same level of privacy. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some downtime without any distractions.
Location: Accessibility in Gwideok-ri
Situated in a quiet residential area in Gwideok-ri, the location is ideal for those who want to explore both Hyeopjae and Aewol. It is very convenient for moving between these two popular areas while still enjoying the peace of a local village. Access by car is straightforward, and it’s easy enough to run out for groceries or head to nearby attractions.
Verdict: Suitability for Couples and Groups
For couples seeking a private, clean, and quiet space, the Bakgeori unit is an excellent fit. It provides all the essential comforts without unnecessary clutter. Given that the quality has remained consistent since my last visit, I would definitely consider staying here again. Furthermore, I think booking both the Bakgeori and Angeori units together would be a fantastic option for larger groups, such as families or friends traveling together.
