Access and Operating Hours
During my stay at the Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott in May 2026, the Mosil Swimming Pool was a highlight of our trip. Unlike previous visits where reservations were required, the current policy allows for free, walk-in access, which made our schedule much more flexible. The indoor pool is open from 09:00 to 21:00, while the outdoor pool operates from 10:00 to 19:00.

Pool Facilities and Atmosphere
The indoor pool is heated to a comfortable 30°C, making it pleasant even when the weather is slightly cool. I particularly loved the high ceilings and large windows that allow natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere during the day. In the evening, the ceiling lights create a beautiful, starry effect. While the indoor and outdoor pools are not directly connected, the walk between them takes only about 1–2 minutes.

Essential Tips for Families
Traveling with my five-year-old, I found the facility very accommodating. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Dress Code: Swimwear is mandatory. While swim caps are not required, waterproof diapers are essential for children under 36 months.
- Safety: Life jackets are mandatory for children under 12. Fortunately, the pool provides a variety of sizes for free, so we didn’t need to bring our own.
- Amenities: Sunbeds are available for free, which was perfect for resting between swims. Towels are also provided in abundance, so you really only need to bring your swimwear. There is even a spin dryer available in the locker room.
- Restrictions: Outside food is prohibited, though water and baby food are permitted. Large floats, fins, and snorkels are not allowed.

Final Thoughts
What stood out most was the sense of space and the constant presence of lifeguards, which gave me great peace of mind while my child played. If you happen to forget any gear, the nearby Shinsegae Outlet within the Shinhwa World complex is a convenient place to pick up swim supplies. Overall, the Mosil Swimming Pool offered a relaxing, high-quality experience that felt much more comfortable and spacious than other hotel pools we have visited. It was easily the place where we spent the most time during our family trip.
