Introduction: Discovering a hidden gem at Royal Orchid Sheraton
In the past, I had avoided dining at the Royal Orchid Sheraton due to rumors about the food quality. However, during my October 2024 trip, I found myself craving lobster. I decided to take a chance on the Siam Yacht Club, located right within the hotel, after finding a great deal on Hungry Hub. I went in with low expectations, but I was genuinely blown away. The experience was fantastic, and I’m already planning my next visit.

Dining Experience: Atmosphere, interior design, and riverside views
The restaurant is beautifully designed with a unique ship-themed interior that feels both charming and sophisticated. It features an open kitchen and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning riverside scenery while they eat. The atmosphere is relaxed and not overly crowded, making it a perfect spot to bring friends or family.

Booking Strategy: Using Hungry Hub for value and menu access
I highly recommend booking through Hungry Hub. When I compared their offerings to the regular menu, I found that almost all items were included. It’s a convenient and cost-effective way to dine. While I opted for a premium package to ensure I got my lobster, I honestly think the entry-level 1,190 THB option would be just as satisfying given the high quality of the food.

Menu Highlights: Premium seafood and Group B unlimited dishes
The food quality here is top-tier. My meal included a Grilled Boston Lobster (500g) and Grilled Tiger Prawns (300g), both of which were excellent.
Beyond the premium selections, the “Group B” menu items are available for unlimited ordering, and they were surprisingly delicious. My personal favorites included:
- Linguine: Absolutely the best dish of the meal.
- Truffle Mashed Potatoes: A perfect, savory side.
- Lobster Consommé: Rich and flavorful.
- Octopus Tacos and Mussels: Both were standout dishes.
I finished the meal with their excellent desserts, including the coconut panna cotta and the red hot chili chocolate, which rounded off a perfect dining experience.

Practical Tips: Shuttle boat access to ICONSIAM and Sathon Pier
One of the best perks of dining here is the location. After your meal, you can easily hop on the Royal Orchid Sheraton shuttle boat right in front of the restaurant. It provides convenient access to ICONSIAM and Sathon Pier. If you head to Sathon Pier, you’re close to the Saphan Taksin station and the Robinson Department Store, which is a great place to browse for character goods, visit bookstores, or find affordable massage shops.

Conclusion: Why it’s a recommended spot for Bangkok visitors
My visit to Siam Yacht Club completely changed my perspective on the dining options at the Royal Orchid Sheraton. Between the high-quality seafood, the beautiful riverside ambiance, and the reasonable pricing through Hungry Hub, it is a spot I will definitely return to. If you are looking for a reliable, delicious, and atmospheric meal in Bangkok, this is a place I highly recommend.
