Michelin-Recognized Milk Tea Bingsu in Bangkok
Pang Cha has become a must-visit destination for dessert lovers in Bangkok, largely due to its famous milk tea bingsu. Having heard that this specific dish was recognized by the Michelin Guide, I was eager to try it. However, I am someone who strongly dislikes waiting in long lines, so I went into the experience with the mindset that if the shop was crowded, I would simply skip it.

Location Strategy: Choosing Central World Over Icon Siam
My initial attempts to visit the Icon Siam branch were unsuccessful, as it always seemed to be at full capacity. Fortunately, I discovered a great alternative. While exploring Central World, I stumbled upon the Pang Cha branch located on the 4th floor. To my surprise, the shop had plenty of empty seats, allowing me to walk right in and enjoy the dessert without any wait at all.
Experience: Atmosphere and Seating at the Central World Branch
I visited the Central World location on a Saturday at 2 PM. Even though it was a weekend, the lack of a crowd was a pleasant surprise. The shop features an open-style layout, but the seating is comfortable with plush chairs, making it a relaxing spot to take a break from shopping.

Product Review: Taste, Texture, and Portion Size
The Pang Cha milk tea bingsu is truly impressive. I am not typically a big fan of shaved ice desserts, but this one was so good that I found myself wanting to go back for more. The flavor is perfectly balanced—it is not overly sweet, which prevents it from becoming cloying. It also includes ingredients like tapioca pearls, which add a wonderful texture and make the experience of eating it much more engaging.
Practical Info: Price and Serving Size
The milk tea bingsu is priced at 335 THB. While this might not be considered cheap, the portion size is massive. It is so generous that two people may actually struggle to finish the entire bowl. Given the quality and the sheer amount of dessert provided, it felt like a worthwhile treat.
