Visiting the Alo Yoga Store in Bangkok
During my trip to Bangkok in October 2024, I made it a point to visit the Alo Yoga store. Since the brand hasn’t officially launched in Korea yet, I was curious to see their collection in person and check out the atmosphere of their Bangkok location.

Location: Finding the Store at EmQuartier
The Alo Yoga store is located in the EmQuartier department store, conveniently situated near the Phrom Phong BTS station. It is a great spot to stop by if you are already exploring the area, as the mall is easily accessible.

Shopping Experience: Trying on Items
The biggest advantage of visiting the physical store is the ability to try things on. I spent time browsing the racks, trying on various pieces of clothing, and testing out their hats to see how they fit. The store has a nice selection, and it was helpful to finally see the quality and sizing in person rather than just looking at photos online.

Price Analysis: Bangkok vs. Direct Shipping
While the items were undeniably stylish, I found the pricing to be quite high. Even though I didn’t perform a precise, item-by-item price comparison, my impression was that the prices at the Bangkok store were higher than what I would pay through direct overseas shipping. Knowing that imported goods in Thailand often come with a premium, I ultimately decided that it wasn’t the best value for me.

A Refreshing Recommendation: Karun Thai Tea
If you find yourself visiting the Alo Yoga store, I highly recommend stopping by the Karun Thai Tea shop located right in front of it. It was a highlight of my visit and absolutely delicious—definitely worth a try while you are in the mall.

Conclusion: Waiting for the Korean Launch
Although I enjoyed the experience of trying on the clothes, I left the store without making a purchase. With news that Alo Yoga is scheduled to open a store in Korea in the second half of 2024, I decided it would be better to wait for the local launch. The gear is beautiful, but given the price point, I’m happy to hold off for now.
