Having visited Bangkok several times, I usually stay near Silom or the Riverside. However, on my most recent trip in October 2024, I stayed in the Asok area and decided to try Dio Spa. It has a great reputation, and the fact that there is a Korean owner made communication incredibly smooth and stress-free.

One of the biggest perks of Dio Spa is how easy it is to book. I didn’t want to commit to a fixed schedule before my flight in case of delays, so I reached out via KakaoTalk (csw1978) as soon as I landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport. They were very responsive, and I was able to coordinate a time that worked perfectly for me. For those who prefer Line, you can also reach them at diospa. The spa operates daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Location and Accessibility: Proximity to EmSphere and shopping malls
Location-wise, it is incredibly convenient. The spa is just a 5-minute walk from the EmSphere Gourmet Market exit. After my massage, I spent the rest of the day exploring EmSphere, EmQuartier, and Emporium, which made for a perfect, seamless itinerary.
The Experience: Herbal ball massage details and therapist service
I make it a point to get a herbal ball massage whenever I am in Thailand; there is something uniquely soothing about the heat pressing into your muscles to release tension. My therapist was dedicated and attentive throughout the entire two-hour session. She balanced the oil massage and the herbal ball application perfectly, leaving me feeling completely rejuvenated. The staff at the front desk were also exceptionally kind and welcoming.
Facility Observations: Private rooms with en-suite shower/toilet
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the facilities. The massage room I used was a private space that included an en-suite shower and toilet. This is a huge plus if you want to freshen up after your treatment, especially if you are looking for a place to shower before heading to the airport on your final day.
Conclusion: Suitability for travelers and final thoughts
Overall, I was so satisfied with my visit that I have a 100% intention to return. I actually planned to visit again throughout the remainder of my trip. If you are looking for a reliable, comfortable, and well-located spa in the Asok area, I highly recommend checking them out.
