During my May 2023 trip to Bangkok, I made a point to visit Aprilpoolday, a boutique swimwear brand that stands out for its unique designs. If you are looking for high-quality swimwear rather than budget options, this is a destination worth considering.

The store is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the BTS St. Louis station. For my visit, I opted to take a Bolt motorcycle taxi from the Como Metropolitan Hotel, which made for a quick 10-minute ride to the shop.
Price Range and Shopping Expectations
It is important to note that Aprilpoolday is a high-end brand. You should expect to pay around 100,000 KRW per piece. Do not visit expecting significant in-store discounts or clearance sales; the pricing remains consistent with their premium positioning.
In-Store Experience: Fitting and Sizing
One of the highlights of visiting the physical store is the personalized service. The staff are very helpful; they provide professional size measurements and offer recommendations based on your fit. You are encouraged to try items on, and the shop carries sizes S, M, and L, with a few select models available in XL.
Store Layout: 10th-Anniversary Event and Shop Details
The store is split across two levels. The first floor is currently dedicated to a 10th-anniversary event space, while the actual retail shop is located on the second floor. The second floor also houses the designers’ workspace and, as a delightful bonus, two resident cats that roam the area.
